1. Who we are
Replysprout (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at replysprout.com. We are the data controller for any personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we collect and why
Email address — collected only if you voluntarily contact us via the contact page. Used solely to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interest (responding to communications).
Payment information — if you purchase a paid plan, payment is processed entirely by Stripe, Inc. We never see, handle, or store your card number or full payment details. We receive only a session identifier and payment status confirmation from Stripe. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
What we do NOT collect: The text you paste into the generator, your name, and all other form inputs stay entirely within your browser. They are never transmitted to our servers.
How replies are generated: When you generate a reply, your inputs are processed locally in your browser to select and personalise the right template. No personal data from this process is stored or retained by ReplySprout.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage (not traditional cookies) to store preferences locally on your device. This includes:

4. Third parties
Stripe— we use Stripe to process payments. Stripe operates its own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising scripts.
5. Data retention
Email addresses collected via the contact form are retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the original purpose (responding to your message). You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.
Local storage data is retained on your device until you clear your browser data or we instruct your browser to remove it.
6. Your rights — UK & EU (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are located in the UK or European Economic Area, you have the following rights. Contact us at replysprout@outlook.com to exercise any of them. We will respond within 30 days.
- Right of access (Art. 15) — request a copy of personal data we hold.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16) — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17) — ask us to delete your data.
- Right to restrict processing (Art. 18) — pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20) — request data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to object (Art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to complain — you may complain to the UK ICO at ico.org.uk or your local EU supervisory authority.
7. Your rights — California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) grant you additional rights:
- Right to know — you may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to delete — you may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

9. Your rights — Australian residents
If you are located in Australia, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) apply. You have the right to access and correct personal information we hold about you. If you believe we have breached the APPs, you may make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
10. Your rights — Brazilian residents (LGPD)
If you are located in Brazil, the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) grants you rights to access, correct, anonymise, block, delete, and port your personal data. 11. International data transfers
If you access the Service from outside the United Kingdom, your information may be transferred to and processed in the UK or the United States (via Stripe). We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled securely in accordance with this policy wherever it is processed.
12. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect any personal data we hold. All payment processing is handled by Stripe over encrypted connections. We never handle raw card data.
13. Children
Replysprout is intended for use by adults (18+) operating businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16, or under the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
